Banana and oat pancakes

Age is a guide. Readiness, texture and allergens matter more than the number.

Cut their pancake into strips or small squares. Serve with sliced banana on the side.

Method
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until almost smooth. Beat in the eggs, then the milk.
- Stir in the oats, baking powder and cinnamon. Leave for five minutes so the oats soften.5 min
- Melt a little butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Drop in spoonfuls of batter and cook until bubbles show, then flip.3 minLittle one · Make the little one's pancake a touch thinner so it cooks through soft.
- Cook the second side a minute or two until golden. Keep warm while you finish the batch.
